Organisational Design

 

Experttech’s Organisational Design solutions involve a hands-on business redesign process, in which strategic goals are aligned with structures, processes and behavioural outcomes.

This involves focused Role Profiling to ensure “perfect fit” when assisting clients in implementing a job grading system and performance metrics. Solutions are developed in such a way that they can plug in and use a variety of client processes, while allowing own interventions at the same time.

Organisational Design solutions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • At the start of the project, a Project Sensitisation is done to ensure buy-in and outlining of any issues from the shop floor.
  • A Brown Paper Process Flow determines if the current structure is aligned with the process needed to execute the company strategy.
  • Conducting an analysis of the "day-in-the-life-of..." the manufacturing supervisors to ensure alignment with the Business Process Flow.
  • Analysis and alignment of findings from the day-in-the-life compared with process flow and structure.
  • Staffing for structure.
  • Job grading of each role.
  • Creating a Retention of Employment (REM) policy and designing the appropriate reward system.
